What is a Christian Without Victory?
By Aldean Pearson, II

I have learned that when we are in a battle—don’t give up. Keep on keeping on. Don’t take the easy way out to get the prize. Take the hard way out. Just go step by step. Pace by pace. Don’t say, “I give up!” or “This is too hard. I can’t do it!” Remember there is power in the tongue.

You are a victor not a victim! God said, “If I am for you, who can be against you?” That means that with God on your side, you have already won. God will not give up on you. When you moan or whine or throw a temper tantrum, you’re not heading toward your goal. You will just stay there in your situation.

What is a Christian without victory?
The Israelites stayed in their situation for 40 years because of their whining. So don’t be like the Israelites. Go through your situation immediately, completely, without murmuring or talking back.

To family and friends, Aldean T. Pearson II is affectionately known as Al II. He is currently a 5th grade student attending Salem Christian Academy in Chicago, IL. From a tender age, Al II has recognized the calling of God on his life. He boldly professes his writings are from God, and speaks with authority what God reveals to him. Al II’s hobbies include writing, music, playing the drums and basketball. Al II wants Christians to know: If you want something, you must first believe. It is when you believe and have faith in God that you will have the victory and your dreams will come true.
